At a press conference tonight (5/22) at NASHVILLE event space RUBY, hit songwriter and producer NICOLLE GALYON announced that she is partnering with BIG LOUD RECORDS for a new imprint to be called SONGS & DAUGHTERS. It will be NASHVILLE’s first female-focused label of note. GALYON will be Pres. of the venture, which she conceptualized with BIG LOUD partner SETH ENGLAND.

Their first signing is 22-year-old CANADIAN artist MADISON KOZAK, a student at NASHVILLE’s BELMONT UNIVERSITY. Her debut single, “First Last Name,” drops on FRIDAY, JULY 26th. KOZAK is also signed to BIG LOUD’s publishing division, BIG LOUD SHIRT.

The existing BIG LOUD team is expected to handle radio promotion, marketing and other functions for SONGS & DAUGHTERS.

GALLYON is a writer on such Country hits as DAN & SHAY’s “Tequila,” MIRANDA LAMBERT’s “Automatic,” KENNY CHESNEY’s “All The Pretty Girls,” LADY ANTEBELLUM’s “Heart Break” and the LAMBERT/KEITH URBAN duet “We Were Us,” among many others.

Said ENGLAND, “NICOLLE GALYON is ready to take the next step in her professional journey, and BIG LOUD couldn’t be more thankful that she chose us to be her partner."
